FAQs
Where is it located?
Ozark Camp and Retreat Center 10357 Eland Rd, Neosho, MO 64850-7283 (use Google Maps for directions on your smartphone or click here.) To see pictures of the grounds, kitchen, sleeping areas, and crafting space click here. What is the sleeping situation? There is one big bunk house with rooms that sleep 4 in twin-sized bunk beds in each room. Bring your own bedding pillow, sleeping bag or sheets and blankets for twin sized beds. If a bunk bed doesn’t work for you, bring an air mattress with bedding, we can put you downstairs. I don't assign rooms, so if you have a few friends, you can all bunk together. Cabins are also available and can house more than 4 people. WHAT Should I BRING?

Crafting space, and Eating space
What is the deal with Internet?
The campground has WIFI, but it is an older DSL country provider so it can be a little sketchy if lots of people are using devices. You can bring laptops and such but streaming and uploading can bog service down to a slow crawl.
What about movies or music?
Feel free to bring your own personal music device. At night, we can set up a projection screen over the fireplace for a movie.
Will there be a drop and swap table?
Yes! Bring stuff to trade or give away!
I have girl scout cookies to sell, can I bring those? I sell scrapbooking, is that allowed on site?
If you choose to do so, it is at your own risk.
Should I bring my own circuit?
This is up to you. At least bring your own mat and cartridges. If you are bringing a cricut, bring an extension cord. Several people
usually bring cricuts so you have an option to share with them. Inquire on the FB page or coordinate with friends if you don't want to bring your machine.

Will there be another collaborative activity? What if I ONLY like scrapbooking?
Personally, I enjoy collaborative activities. I also like to do other crafts besides scrapbooking. That is the artist in me. I try to
prepare a screen print so that everyone can bring a t-shirt/apron/bag and print the design onto it. IT IS FREE. I teach you how to
do it. We have also done a collaborative art project, spin art, shrinky-dinks, and a group art journal. Watch the FB page for updates
about this project. It all depends on time, energy, motivation. I am open to someone else bringing supplies or an idea for this.
What about the pool? Fishing?
Sometimes in the fall, the pool is open and the fish are stocked in the pond for fishing. I will give more details on the FB page.
Can I pay by check or money order?
Yes, check out the registration page for more information and a link to the registration form.
Can nursing mothers attend?
We tried a couple of different scenarios with nursing moms. We honestly tried to accommodate mothers, but at this time, we
cannot allow newborns to attend the retreat. Our insurance policy doesn't cover the liability on children.
What happens in case of bad weather?
In the event of a blizzard or ice storm during this event, please call my cell phone for details: 417-438-8698 or check the facebook page for updates. The campground has a basement in case of bad storms and a weather radio. If the power goes out, we craft in the dark! ;-)
What is table space like?
We generally have to sit 2 per table. The tables are 8 ft. If we have a small group, everyone gets their own table...if we have a big
group we have to double up.
